A) Details box
The details box includes the birth and death dates and places of the subject of the biography, as well as the publication details (that is, the volume number, date of publication, publisher, and page numbers) of the print version of the article. The author of the article is also shown.
B) Navigational box
Below the details box is the navigational box, so called because it contains the name of the page you are on as well as hyperlinks to other relevant pages in the ADB Online. There are links to the Life Summary of the biographical subject; the Resources associated with the biographical subject; a list of Abbreviations used in the articles of the ADB; and, Back to Article which returns you to to the article page of the biographical subject. In the example above, clicking this link would return you to the article for Bessie Mabel Rischbieth. The current page (in this case the Article History) is also indicated by being the only line not hyperlinked. This is also a feature of the Biography and Life Summary pages.
C) Print Publication Details
Lists the author, article title, publication title, volume number, publisher, date of publication and page number/s of the article in the print version of the Australian Dictionary of Biography.
D) Amendments
Published as 'corrigenda' in the print version of the Australian Dictionary of Biography, the Amendments track the changes that have been made to the article since it was originally published. This is a consolidated list of all amendments and should be viewed alongside the print version of the article. (NOTE: the amendments have been applied to the online article).
E) Online Publication Details
Cites the publication details of the article in the Australian Dictionary of Biography Online Edition, including the author, article title, copyright date and publication.
